the_elyanAfter a day of navigating the choppy waters of being with my parents (I don't mind being with them, but there's always an argument lurking just below the surface, and six hours of that is wearing), and a sudden prod in the wrong direction, I was feeling pretty zoned out ten minutes ago, which isn't ideal before going off to be theatrical.
Then, quite by chance, I came across one of those songs that is so filled with nervous energy that it wakes you up - "Beat City" by the Raveonettes. There are few more rock 'n' roll opening lines than "Wanna die in Beat City, run, run, run".
So now I'm awake, what do I do next?
