Those who have been following events in Tibet might find the following interesting:
This article is an eyewitness report from Lhasa during the uprising, and this is a collection of accompanying photographs. The journalist in question was, according to the source (the Economist) the only foreign journalist in Tibet at the time - I do not know how true this is, of course, but knowing the general level of Chinese secrecy around Tibet, it is quite possible.
Finally, this is a more general story writtn by the same journalist from Lhasa a little later.
I have no idea how long these will be available online, plus I appreciate the Economist is not the most neutral of publications, but nonetheless they make interesting reading.
