the_elyanStrange to wake up to a news item about alcohol. I'm afraid I turned it off when I heard the phrase:
"Most experts agree that six units constitutes a binge"
Evidently "most experts" don't get out and about much. Sad though the whole "Yeah, but I can handle it, me", thing is - three pints is not a binge, dammit. Three pints is a quiet drink for a friend, even for me, and I don't drink much these days...
"Ministers will announce a review to establish whether promotions and pricing are linked to excess drinking"
I could write that one - "no shit, Sherlock". Would save on HMSO resources, anyway...
