Flanders & Swann - Even More...
Nov. 10th, 2007 06:50 pmFollowing the kerfuffle earlier this year with the attempt to buy a rare copy of "And Then We Wrote...", those with an interest in such things may like to note:
There is a new 4-CD Flanders & Swann Boxset, which appears to be aimed squarely at the obsessive collector. It's an odd fish, as only one disc is devoted to the two famous albums - however, it also contains "And Then We Wrote...", together with every other F&S rarity known to man or beast, as far as I can tell.
Not sure I feel up to paying £30-odd for it, as I already have the previous 3-CD effort, but I'm sure there'll be someone for which this is an Irresistible Object of Desire.
I'm struggling with my own (Just About) Resistible Object of Desire at the moment, and it costs rather more than £30.
