I should be used to this by now - work really is like buses, in the sense of nothing happening for ages then several things happening at once. I have an interview in Norwich tomorrow, potentially one in Stevenage early next week, and another potential thing in Huntingdon. All three of these are pretty piggy to get to from here by train - ironically the one furthest away (Norwich) is the easiest, and also the nicest place by some distance.
It is also ironic that when I finally spot something I could really fancy (a year at Cambridge University Press, apps close end of next week), that's when all the long-term options come flooding in.
And it's supposed to be bloody freezing tomorrow, and worse the nearer the coast you are. Norwich is within 30 miles or so of the coast for three points of the compass. Oh goody.
A mixed today - mostly OK, with some dizzying dips. Despite the cost and the weather, I think I shall go in search of semi-known company at the Cambridge Blue...
