I wonder if the process of subduction - whereby materials are driven deep by external pressure-points, causing dangerous upwellings in unrelated spots - could be said to apply to the psyche?

ION, one of the perils of wearing contact-lenses is trying to figure out where Boots has hidden the solutions. On this occasion, contact-lens solutions were in a rack signed "Incontinence". Nice.
