On the way to work this morning, I heard a mother explaining Plate Tectonics to your small child:

"...and it causes all the mountains, and hills, and ripples in the land. All that from two countries banging together"

Being the creature of filth and darkness that I am, I dropped the word "together" from the end of that, and got a whole new theory of political geography...

"What happens is that two countries who love each other very much get certain urges, and the mummy country gets a big mountain in her middle, then after it gets big enough, out pops Luxembourg"

I happened to find a leaflet for the Vor Frelsers Kirke in Copenhagen, which I visited about three and a half years ago.
