Silly literary game
Jun. 3rd, 2008 09:16 pmI was sitting at rehearsal, and suddenly had the following thought:
Which Shakespeare plays, or works of literature generally, would be most improved by the sudden appearance at some point of the gang from Scooby-Doo?
I thought maybe Othello. It's not a play I know very well at all, but I can just imagine Iago screaming "And I would have got away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!". In iambic pentameter.
I also suspect there could be definite possibilities with much of Charles Dickens...
