Stuff

Coming to work on the train this morning, the view was extremely beautiful. The monochromatic view of leafless trees half-hidden in the fog, and frost on the hedgreows and waterways - just like this painting, in fact, which is in my living-room, waiting to make it from "propped against the bookcase" to "actually hung on the wall".

In less lofty news, walking along Elizabeth Way, I passed a large truck with "ERECTION SPECIALISTS" written in large letters down the side. I tried to be adult about it, honest I did, but I couldn't help pondering whether they were an offshoot of Wallace & Gromit's outfit with the dancing rabbit...

Finally, I saw a reference to "The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show". What would the Daily Mail's Ideal Home be like? One shudders at the very thought...
