It is very odd, rather disorienting, but very, very good. Sunderland is a place of which I know little, apart from that it is one of the very few people people from Middlesbrough find "a bit rough". Nor do I know much about Lewis Carroll. But I'm learning - depending on how much of it is true, of course...
