(no subject)

Given today's complete brain-failure, I have just spent the last two hours watching Grease.

Like most of the films that should have shaped my childhood, I didn't actually see Grease until I was at University. On the whole I'm pretty glad, because the social stereotyping is frankly bullshit, and as a period piece it's not a patch on American Graffiti, Stand By me, or even Animal House.

Still fun, though...
