From Wanadoo's front-page:

"Jordan: I'm not losing weight fast enough"

Shame you can't say the same for brain cells eh, you stupid cow. May the ghosts of 10,000 anorexia victims drive you to your (pencil-thick) grave.

On a happier note, was watching one of C4's nostalgia-fests, and came across a programme that took me on an express back to my childhood.

It's ... BULLSEYE!

I'm just the right age to remember Bullseye - my parents wouldn't have been seen dead watching professional darts, but there was something so gloriously English and peculiar about the whole concept of Bullseye that it charmed us all, and in some sense still does.

The only thing that really annoyed me about the nostalgia-fest was that I only caught about half of it, and though that contained many fine memories (The Krypton Factor! Now Get Out Of That!), the part I missed had obviously included a segment on one of the lost shows of my youth ... The Adventure Game. The Adventure Game holds a special place in the heart of people my age, especially those who were slightly damp and unsporting, and it would have been good to bring it all back for a moment.

Never mind - the rate C4 recycle these I Love...-type shows, it should be on again in a fortnight...
Just started reading "Who Moved My BlackBerry?" by Martin Lukes (well, by Lucy Kellaway really - it's by Martin Lukes in the same way Bridget Jones's Diary is by Bridget Jones).

Very funny. Kind of like "e" by Matt Beaumont (which is a scream - if you haven't read it, do so), rewritten by Gus from Drop the Dead Donkey. Any last scintilla of doubt you may have had that business language is hilarious bullshit will be saddling up and checking out the traffic reports by the time you finish the first chapter...
