Oct. 29th, 2004 08:41 pmI seem to remember writing somewhere about the advantages of being hopelessly disorganised, vis a vis misplacing my wallet and being able to proceed calmly on the assumption that I'd left it in the fat, rather than instantly suspecting foul play.
Unfortunately, there are downsides. I've just remembered that I'm sure I had a dentist's appointment booked some time in September.
Oh well, if you're going to forget about something, it's altogether less stressful to forget about it utterly until it's far too late to be worth giving a damn (an argument familiar, mutatis mutandis, to wearers of Joo Janta 200 Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses)
The only thing that worries me is a vague recollection of a fee for missed appointments. Ah, to hell with it...
