the_elyanThe irony of listening to Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine" whilst in work, the only person in the office on a sunny Saturday, has not been lost on me.
And oblique thinks to Tom the Astronomer (not to be confused with the other Tom the Astronomer) for finally helping me crack one of life's puzzles - the deeper significance of the song "Octopus's Garden". Obviously "An octopus's garden by a cave" is a clue to the resting-place of the Great Cthulhu (or however you spell him). The kids may well look happy and safe, but beware the glowing eyes...
