The following is perhaps the most amazingly manipulative and logically garbled piece of journalism I've ever seen, even if the subject-matter is very minor:
"TRAINS ARE ON TIME - SO YOU PAY!"
Commuters who use South West Trains face paying 5% more for tickets. Improved punctuality on the network means the 5% discount passengers have been given for the firm's poor timekeeping since 2000 is being axed"

To see such a viewpoint, which neatly destroys the entire purpose of the system established to try to improve performance, by a newspaper read by probably a milliuon people a day scares me.
I loathe rail privatisation, but when I read something that stupid, I almost feel sorry for its architects by comparison.
